Is there a thread on him already ? Don't know hence creating one. He is from Tripura and of 20 yrs old, already has a couple of 5fers and a century to go with it, looks a decent Allrounder to me. He is a fast bowler primarily, said to have some pace and can bat as well. I got it from a reporter who saw him bowl live last year at Naduan against HP.

why? North eastern people are the fittest people in India. Most of them are short but there are tall guys who can become really handy if they start playing cricket. Most of these folks are interested in soccer.

We dont expect him to be Botham,Imran Khan,Kallis,but if he is half as good ,should be nurtured.I dont think he had a good infrastructure ,coaching and he may be the first player from Assam to get noticed in a long time.

Why not? Johnson was bowling once in Unadkat's speed(around that mark) and now he's bowling 90mph regularly.
