And even in those cases protocols were followed while arresting. People were just expelled from the host country

The state dept have her lodged in some safe place to make a case. I think too much of an expense to get somebody as small as the low level diplomat.

If they don't wont it set a bad precedent to the existing diplomats. With all noise around India might even forget to sack her.

So what's your point, contradicting yourself? It was the same international law and courtesy which we followed in the Italian case
