Rohit came and scored a brilliant hundred when we were nothing 5 down in his first test. The conditions in Eden and Wankhede were far easier than what Rahane faced in Delhi. Tics is right, its not the right time to compare these 2 in Test. Let them have a few more games in their bag.

That was just an example how players need time to settle down. A lot of people had written off even Kohli after that series but look at him now once he got that time to settle in. Even Kohli and Pujara have both lot to prove before being called future greats. We are just seeing them as one which is fine to say, but they are to prove us of how consistently they can do this and motivate them to keep doing this for long. Dravid and Tendulkar's longevity is hard to match. Even Laxman's. So it's a big ask for all of them. It's good to celebrate the moment but I hope Indian fans remember that it's just one performance and that only two players(Kohli and Pujara) have passed first exam and lot of bigger tests are yet to happen for all these young players.
