The one that irked me was that who cares if India loses if Tendulkar scores a ton. That is the biggest wtf for me.

Nah, have never seen this on any forum by Sachin fans. Max is when posters like you point out that Sachin fans behave like this when actually not one post have I seen like this. I even made a parody thread on this a while back (something about enjoying seeing Sachin bat) but not many bit

Ok, just to be devil's advocate here

Indian Fan's Attitude : 1.If Ishant takes 4 wickets in a match ...OMG - He is doing Anti Ishant ..Once in a blue moon performance by him -mark my words ! 2.Next match -Goes wicketless- I told you so ,he's back what he is best at --Halwa Bowler hai -Nikaldo team see.Yadav should play ,who has raw pace ...

Well, Ishant's poor performance has been called out for over a year now. And he has performed in one innings. So it is indeed once in a blue moon performance. What is wrong in calling this out? And when he is back to his old ways next test, that is also once again, as predicted. If the judgement was based only on these two matches then you would be correct. But it is not, it's based on over a year of Ishant's performance. What is wrong with what fans said here?

You would be correct if the same set of fans were doing this. Clearly that is not right.

5 Murli Vijay Scores less:--this chap doesn't have technique to play in south african conditions -Wonder why selectors want him in the playing X1--he is better off playing in Ranji X1 --Mark my words 6.Zaheer unable to take wickets -I wish Sreesant was here in South Africa, he would have done a better job than Zaheer ... Mark my words ! 7 Dhawan unable to score runs ,Why is Gambhir sitting out and playing ranji .He is playing so well and should have played in South Africa. He would have scored more runs than Dhawan ..Mark my words ! and the list continues .......... Inspired by Gannu ;)

None of this is anything specific to Indian fans. These kinds of speculations and wanting people who are out of the team is common to all cricket team fans and is one of the most common topics on any cricket forum On the flip side, please consider this. After one single whitewash, most team change their captain and coach. Fans get pissed off and bay for blood. Bet there will be whole sale changes in the England team after this Ashes loss. But Indian fans (most of them) have been extremely patient with their team and captain. Despite our poor over-seas performances, even now, most people support Dhoni and the team. Isn't that a plus point for the fans?

My uncle and a couple of my friends are a few of them. He mostly used to watch the match till Sachin batted and mostly cared only about how many runs Sachin scored, how many records he has surpassed. They have a negative attitude towards anyone who is nearing his records, even Kohli and Dhoni. :cantstop: Fans like them give Sachin a bad name, for no fault of his.

Nothing wrong with Indian fans. The problem is always with BCCI and our cricket team. Even with so much money couldn't find a quality fast bowler. Never won a test series in Aus and SA. Poor records against arch rival Pakistan in ODI's and Tests. No quality opener since Gavaskar era. Look at other teams like Aus, Eng and SA. Billions of money, but no sporting, bouncy wicket in India. No quality spinner at present. Still our fans are mad about cricket. Salutes to them.

I think a lot of us want the team to succeed and when we see pathetic efforts like Rohit leaving that ball, and thus putting the team in a worse-off position, we are bound to get annoyed. But we aren't all one voice. Some of us question vijay and still do whereas I admitted I was wrong about him. Look at the test team we have. Ishant in 2nd innings got 1 wicket of ABDV and that was slightly lucky. He has done nothing this match, he is HERE TO TAKE WICKETS or atleast curb the run rate which he hasn't always done. Someone with his height and bounce should have picked up 2 at least but he doesn't know how to take wickets. Thought he had changed. 2nd test he has dissapointed me.

There are few fans who think they are right all time and have written a bible on fan's behavior. These fans think if other fans criticize any player's performance and question the captain moves etc then they are either wrong or don't know about the game. These few select fans think and act as some sort of fan morality and etiquette police and feel they are one to guide others from darkness into eternal sunshine by passing on their infinite knowledge and wisdom. I have one answer for those fans sc*rew you. Everyone who is on these forums are emotionally attached to some extent towards the team. They all want the team to perform well when it does not perform well , they vent out their frustrations and when it does well they let out their happiness. I don't see how that is big deal as long as it is not abusive and or personal. After all these forums are there to share happiness and sorrows together with like minded people who are also emotionally involved in the game.

It just for fun.Its nothing personal .Title as post was posted here at ICF ;) Patient ?We had enough bashing against Dhoni to change him .What else you expect fans to do ?Throw stones at BCCI office to remove Dhoni or file a court case against BCCI ?
