With respect to batting skills - How has Saha been on A-tours to SA or Aus or Eng or NZ? Has he played? And how has he been on any Intl tour games?

Ok everyone, who agrees with this team? Dhawan vijay pujara (captain) kohli (v-c, but captain of T20s ) rahane at 5 (give him a few games at 5, if fails, move back to 6) rohit (if he fails here, maybe time to move on to rayudu who can keep, or m tiwary), DKarthik as WK at 7 Jadeja Umesh Aaron (If not ready, can play pandey and add pankaj to the reserves) Shami Reserves: Kulkarni, Pandey, Ojha, Rayudu Great team of fielders, 4 bowlers incl a great spinner and 3 pacers. More potent attack, will learn as they play and are ready. Umesh needs to be playing. 7 batsmen + jadeja at 8 for runs + runs from tail if they hold up. Well balanced if you ask me!

We need to develop world class players, and I think Saha would be more of a quick fix than a long-term option.

^ Saha is 29, hardly old and if successful can have a good 4-5 years in the team. I've never seen Samson keep wickets, but from what I've read he is not very accomplished at the moment. I just glanced at his cricinfo profile and he has 7 catches in 13 FC matches - that means he does not even keep regularly in FC cricket. How can you select someone for tests when he does not even keep regularly in FC cricket?

My team is posted above, but i would have DK replace dhoni. Better batsman in tests, plays better in longer format. Can build good partnerships and if we lost wickets, i'd be hapy to have him and rahane/number 6 form a partnership Excellent fielder too and good keeping to pacers. Tests are overseas so pacers won't be in the game unless there are turners.
