You are an Indian fan or English fan or Paksitan fan posing as an English fan? :cantstop:
Before I leave for my morning swim, I'll answer your question. I registered for ICF with my official work email. So Alexander is my real name - I'll leave the rest to your sharp mind. :finger:

We will thrash India this summer. 3-1 or even 4-0. Here' date=' the ball will swing and India's bowling offers no threat to our batsmen.[/quote'] Don't underestimate your opposition before any tour. SA nearly lost the first test due to that. Swing is not the biggest problem of Indian batsmen, the current crop of batsmen may be more troubled by bounce. England may win 1-0 or 2-1 - can't foresee 4-0 after your Ashes performance.

Let us be realistic. England have been smashed by Johnson. India have no Johnson, not anything close. Our batsmen will be much more comfortable against the Indian attack - and in British climatic conditions, our bowlers will get swing, seam et al.

did not our friend special K predict something like this during the champions trophy final? On the issue at hand. England start as favs. A lot will depend on how the side gets on v SL before India come and who wins the toss. Its not a coincidence that during the 3-0 ashes win the team that batted first usually went on to perform well barring rain.

The point is just cause Johnson ripped England open does not mean that England dont have other weaknesses.

No one thought Johnson was a joke. Yes, his performance has been beyond all expectations - but we knew and respected his pace. India has Sharma, B. Kumar, a past is Zaheer Khan and a rookie in Shami. Ashwin will not be effective in the UK with any regularity. So yes, I will back Cook and co to make plenty. We overcame your bowlers in India - where they are potent. Here, I honestly see no perspective wherein India have the advantage over us.

Limited overs cricket and test cricket are a world apart. Dont see the relevance of your point to a discussion on the pending test series.

yes when the barmy army sings he bowls to the left , he bowls to the right his name is Mitchell Johnson his bowling is shyte, that does imply they did not rate him at all. I agree in the sense that England are favourites. But they were favourties for ashes down under as well. You would have got high odds on Aus on sites like bet 365 before this years winter ashes.

the relevance is about a bold prediction. Its fair to say that after predicting that England would destroy Aus in the ashes home and away it might be wise to be a little cautious about England. I mean i am confident about India at home with this new side. But i will still be cautious in the statements i make as its a young side

If the ball swings England are in business otherwise they are shyte and will continue to be shyte. If Indians bowl close to what they bowled against SA they will roll over england in a heart beat.

:hysterical: Yes, Cook and KP are making plans as to how to play the dangerous Ishant Sharma and co. :haha: India are a good side at home, a good ODI side anywhere, but this is test cricket in England.

Yes, almost conceding a world record, then conceding 500 in the next innings they bowled in is a mighty effort. Then losing by 10 wickets as the other side scored 58/0 to win the game. You bowled well in 1 innings. :giggle:

Cook was average and he just had luck (just like England side) going his way for couple of series like they say every fricking dog has its day that is what happened with Cook. KP will have his moments but its ok other than that every english batsmen is crap as usual. They are no proteas to lean on this time. So don't worry your crappy team are back to good old days.

If India do not change their bowling attack, they will be thrashed regardless of whether the ball swings are not.
