For genuine quick bowlers, below 24 is the most tender age for injuries. This is the reason he has only played 13 FC games till now.

In windies and SA series both odis and tests yadav has played total of 1 game(bowled well no spraying). Meanwhile the trundlers ...... In the first ODI he played in SA he went at 7.5 an over, which is only good news if you are the opposition. Kept bowling at the legs and dispatched to the boundary!! In the final ODI he gave away 53 runs in 9 overs at more than 6 runs an over, in comparison Isant bowled 10 overs took 4 wickets at a rate of 4 an over!! The last test Yadav played against England he bowled well but ends up with a back injury and was unable to play rest of the series!! Now if you were a captain what would you do with him?!! In ODIs Yadav sparys it everywhere and in the 5-day format you are scared the boy will get injured halfway through the match. As incompetent and docile Isant Sharmas bowling is, he is unfortunately the fittest bowler we have with 'scrape the barrel pace and bounce'. Fortunately we found Shami but he is still in his formative years in World cricket but will improve. I am all for a very quick set of bowlers charging in for India, but lets not flatter ourselves every time a bowler clocks 90 miles on the radar.

I am all for a very quick set of bowlers charging in for India, but lets not flatter ourselves every time a bowler clocks 90 miles on the radar. thats what happen when u just go by the stats and not watch the match..yadav bowled well in both the odis in saf but our captain gave our strike bowler just 2 ovr with the new ball and 3 ovrs after 30th ovr where he bowled really well with a good rhythm but dhoni took him out of the attack and suddenly gave him the ball to bowl the final ovr lol.just 6 ovrs to our strike bowler,thats heights of stupidity!! in the 2nd odi pitch was very flat and he bowled pretty well,a catch was dropped and miller edged to the slips which was vacated.. regarding ishant,he is incorrigible and a total failiure,no way he deserves to be in the team ,forget playing over yadav who is miles better than him with an avg of 32,S/R of 46 in tests!!

Dont play fast bowler , he will spray it, he will get injured. Lets play safe and pick ishant and unadkunt. Jeez we just dont learn ps ydav has much better average and strike rate in tests then bk, ishant, vinnay and unadkunt. So even if anti pace, the stats also say better
