puneet28 Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 The ICC World T20 in Bangladesh could be moved to India due to the prevailing political turmoil in the country Sources tells CNN-IBN that the ICC has been monitoring the situation for a while now and a final decision could be taken at the ICC Security Meet in Dhaka next week where a final assessment will be held. Pakistan and West Indies have already expressed their concerns over travelling to Bangladesh. In fact, there was a bomb blast outside the West Indies team hotel when their under 19 team was touring in December and that saw them leave the tour midway. Sri Lanka have also ruled out playing in Sylhet later this month on security grounds and Sylhet is also a venue for the World T20. Cricketics Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 I hope they move it to Australian or New Zealand. India and other asian countries have hosted enough tournaments. It will be good rehersal for the big world cup next year. I hope they just move this t20 to Australia/NZ region.
