These women there can earn about rs300 a day as the current rates stand. However they can easily earn Rs2000 a day doing this. Prostitution. Kamathipura especially is incredibly organised. The shiv sena madila adhadi mandal operates there and its much safer for these women than those who ply by the trucking routes in India. the media in India really needs to stop sensationalising everything. India as a nation needs to stop worrying too much about red light districts in major cities. Its the trucking routes and pit stops along the express ways/highways where the real danger to these women lay.

Yeh jo harkatein likhi hain, these are nothing out of ordinary...many people around the world have much more 'sickening' kinks..two consenting adults doing what they want to. These women are not slaves. Kal agar yehi legal ho jayega (it is legal in many places in the world), phir sickening nahi rahega ? 'Saving women on other side from their desire' ? LOL...why, there is no beating involved, no violence, only sexual acts...I don't know what saving they are doing. :dontknow:
