Just because a few people in indian cricket are rich doesn't mean india is awash in quality cricketing infrastructure. Just a few days ago parveez rasool was complaining about lack of facilities in kashmir. In karnataka, taking ranji cricket to mysore and shimoga was considered as a great achievement over the last few years, and these places are a few hours from bangalore. Our people are still not comfortable with letting our kids choose cricket as a profession, our ranji bowlers look malnourished and people talk as if india is some Scandinavian country in terms of sporting infrastructure which now wants to snatch cricketing money from some poor african country.

You know how critical I have been of dhoni and yes backing dhoni and Ipl conflict of interest is 2 things I am critical of Srinivasan but apart from that administration wise he has been ruthless which is what we need. Is selecting binny the bcci chairmans fault? Those kind of things have happened in indian cricket since eternity Icf darlings....Yadav,aaron(whenever he has been fit) have been part of every squad....how is the chairmans fault if they don't play in the x1. Raina and jadeja don't have csk contracts because of srini s insistence and they don't get a free pass for the same. So tell me apart from backing dhoni how has Srinivasan personally ruined indian cricket?

What about his statements when we were being whitewashed in Australia back in 2012 the guy said its fine every touring team goes through this and home team is always strong and he also said that when they will come here we will beat them at home and everything will be fine.He did not care about the performance of the team had no vision and there was no planing at all on how to improve.Selecting Binny is not his fault as I understand either it would have been Vinay or Binny but you have to agree that the selectors are more of his yes man type plus bullying the commentators that they can't be critical of team selections or Dhoni why ?Look at the way how ECB acted after the whitewash at least they were professional enough to make some changes at least they are planing but we are getting hammered yet this guy does not give a damn about it why ?I never saw Giles Clarke or ACB chairman being happy or satisfied that these things happen or let them come here we will prepare our kind of pitches and beat them.The guy is corrupt and a complete bully and does not care about welfare of Indian Cricket.

The rebuilding should have started back in 2011 itself but it did not happen.

If is Biswal as many people are predicting then Srini will be the most powerful However if the Pawar faction can get their man then he is going to be a lame duck president after his term as BCCI prez ends in 2014.

Hell CSK and MI fans hate each others guts during IPL but Ambani and Srini are allies and the more powerful Srinivasan gets it benefits all.
