If the pitch is flat, you need one of the openers- the slogger and the other hard hitter or Virat to play a long inning. Middle order with these 2 would either put more pressure on the others or get and leave the rest to Dhoni and tail.

adi B Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 lol pishant is not dropped,he is just rested for the all important IPL and the hectic year ahead.though its a blessing in disguise.. msd should no way have lead the t20 side for WT20. both the squads aint that bad considering all these games will be played on pattas,i would have dropped ashwin though for maybe rahul..ashwin will be a disaster in the WT20
