I have seen Zol bat just four or five times. Every time he plonks his front foot (to be specific his trigger moment brings his right foot in front of the wicket) which makes him play around the pads when the ball comes in. Our brainless trundler in the domestic circuit wouldn't have figured that out yet. But I believe any bowler who can swing/seam the ball into Zol will trouble him (just like the Paki leftie did today). He is young and has time in his side to improve and flourish but this is one major flaw I see in his technique.

Nowadays youngsters are not playing county cricket because of IPL. It would have been a good learning experience for them. Rohit Sharma can benefit from a County stint too. May reduce his weakness against the moving ball and improve his footwork.
