But he definitely has to work on it before playing for India. A half decent bowler in international cricket will clearly work him out with that kind of forward press. Our very own talented Rohit Sharma is facing the same problem and that has contributed to his downfall quite often in test cricket so we dont need another young player with a similar problem. We already have Rohit! :)

Enough about county cricket. For one, the counties have become a lot more picky now in terms of the talent that play for them. They usually play either internationals or players who have a lot of experience and success in first-class cricket. Second, the BCCI doesn't allow a lot of its younger players to play county cricket, because they want them to give priority to their own tournaments first. So you can forget about your hopes of young Indian players playing in county cricket to gain experience. It's just not happening.

A player wouldn't get a great deal of success if his technique is hampering him. He has an unorthodox technique, but it works for him.

Rohit Sharma can benefit from a County stint too. May reduce his weakness against the moving ball and improve his footwork. Doesn't always help. Kaif, Yuvi, Sehwag, Dinesh Mongia all played county cricket in 2000s, remained the same players at FC level. Pacers though can gain as you bowl lots of overs and get to work hard on your fitness and sort out minor technical glitches.

It will help some and not help others. Anyway, nowadays it is most probably not happening.
