However, Times of India reported that the reason was because Sampath Kumar had allegedly received money from a bookie. The Times of India report stated Police sources had told the newspaper that Sampath Kumar was suspended because the CB-CID police booked a case against him for collecting Rs 53 lakh from one of the bookies, Mahendar Randak, to release him from the case. Sampath Kumar, who is currently posted as Superintendent, Railway in Tiruchi later surrendered Rs 30 lakh to the CB-CID, the sources said. Though Sampath Kumar was questioned, he claimed Randak merely helped him repay old debts. Its ironic that he is suspended as soon as he went public when the matter was last year.He said he wanted Kumar, a police officer who had appeared before the Justice Mudgal Committee, also believes that the investigation of the case should be handed over to one agency like the National Investigation Agency. "I asked for an investigation by an agency like the NIA along with a joint investigation team. I had a feeling that this investigation was not [moving] on the right lines because the very FIR [filed by the Delhi police at the time of arresting Sreesanth and two other cricketers] mentions match-fixing. It's in the FIR itself but it was not probed properly." You can certainly do better than being a blind fan too In any country in any organization, the captain having such an obvious conflict of interest that he himself is a part of player talent agency, is clearly such a breach of trust and he would be immediately fired

Dhoni, jadeja, Ashwin, Raina and Mohit (csk last season) out of these 4 are regular starters.

He has been suspended Pending disciplinary actions no specific cause has been given .In govt proceedings charges have to be framed with in certain time frame,unless u already know the official charges then u can talk about it otherwise its speculation.
