hhunaeh Posted April 30, 2014 Share Posted April 30, 2014 You know the claim was suspicious when the announcement came right after the search failed to find the plane in the designated search area and was once again expanded to include large swaths of the sea. Bluefin and the planes failed to find anything, aerial search was suspended, search area was once again expanded and then you had a unknown company make a claim. They have spent millions of dollars and close to 2 months looking for the flight in the Southern Indian ocean. Seems very unlikely that the wreckage in Bay of Bengal would be MH370 though. Books says, at the time of incident, America and Thailand were having a joint military exercise in South Chinese sea from where plane went missing. Anton Gerashenko says on his Facebook page the plane was flying at an altitude of 10,000 meters (33,000 feet) when it was hit Thursday by a missile fired from a Buk launcher.
