Very stupid and tasteless. Don't watch it. And why shouldn't it 'be there'? Because you don't like it?
urbestfriend Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Agree. Some of swears and abuses may be common in their culture in day-to-day lives, but it is not so in our culture..If they wanted to follow this, they should have at least avoided swear words and abuses.

Yes, i didnt like it because of abuse But it is good idea to take it down from online, because youtube has no way of limiting the videos only to 18+. What message will young people get when famous cine stars are abusing each other publicly?

FYI: YouTube does have an option to restrict people from watching 18+ vids if you do not login. Now if the person makes the effort to make an account and log in to watch the video, he wouldn't bother to go check out some even more abusive obscene videos.

If they watch it, they will make up their mind. Why do we care so much about how others perceive as some moral code is necessary for the society?

Our society have been doing maa behen without any help from AIB or YouTube. If one doesn't like it, then don't bother watching it. No one's got a gun pointed at your head.
Sachin=GOD Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 If the issue is influencing kids then Big Boss etc are right up there with this roast in terms of abuses etc. I havent seen anyone ask for it to be stopped (though the show is so incredibly bad that it should be stopped just for that). And AIB can also mark it as adult content and thus it will only be visible to people of more than 18 years once they log in to their youtube account - this way children will not be able to see it.

I fully endorse govt taking down such videos.

There's a thin line between not believing in absolute freedom of speech and not believing in freedom of speech at all.

He can be ridiculed so much he won't do it again on live TV. This was on YT, where AAM people don't know how to get it it. We don't need government to dictate. Very soon it will be come what Taliban would do, kill people for having fun privately. Think of a social gathering in some party where consenting adults go at each other. We don't want to ban them to have their fun if they want? This is not even a case of freedom of expression, basic freedom to do what they feel like.

Insulting someone for comedy is very much par of our culture,we are very good when it comes to satires and black comedy but just using F words or just swearing for the heck of it is not funny. Also the west can be brash about certain things like religion(in most cases atleast),Race and Homophobia because atleast on the surface they are liberal and things are kore accepting. We just can't afford to do that. I was accused of being Homophobic by some liberal mods before when I said as a society we are not mature enough to fight for gay rights when such a topic came about. Anyways the collective IQ of the people roasting (especially the Celebs involved )doesn't inspire much confidence that there will be clever humor involved anyway...Foul language when used in the context of clever humor will work but just using it and being crude is not my cup of tea.

There are bound to be hiccups - they will only learn by doing it again and again.
