Had no support from the pacers. It wasn't a wicket for the spinners either, a flat one and it was a brilliant effort to get that 6fer.

Out of the 5 listed, I'd pick Mishra ... Sure Mishra was terrible in England, but Ashwin was terrible in Australia and terrible in South Africa ... Jadeja was not threatening enough in New Zealand. Out of the above 5, Mishra seems like the best pure spinner. However, I would like to see someone completely new given a chance.

Yes, he is still untested outside Asian conditions. I don't mind him being given the chance to prove himself again, as other bowlers like Ashwin and Jaddu have not delivered the goods so far.

Yes, averaged over 100 on that tour, was low on kaanphidence and was bowling 2-3 long hops and full tosses every over, along with frontfoot No-balls. He seems to have worked hard on his control and no-ball issues. Might go back to bowling crap (like he did against Australia) when his confidence gets hit.

Yes, he has a poor test record in India as well, not just in England. Much will depend on whether Mishra is having a purple patch or we really have a Mishra 2.0 on our hands. Both Pakistan and WI are poor teams, Pakistan poor because they have a mental block against India in big games and West Indies is a team of wild sloggers. We need to see more of Mishra especially against big teams, in important games as well as batsman friendly conditions to judge him.

Chinaman kuldeep yadav can be handful overseas Firstly is a leggie & may get more turn & bounce. Secondly he is a very rare type of bowler can be used as s mystery spinner.

Ojha Ashwin not good enough to get wickets on pitches away from home. Ojha the lone spinner away from home at home Ashwin, Jaddu, Ojha trio. No Mishra in tests :orderorder:

:this: Just not consistent enough with line/length anyway even if he doesn't lose patience. Mishra is nothing special and doubt he can get a good test match batsman out who isn't slogging.

Ojha can be India's Herath, who did well in SA and reasonably well in Aus. Herath got a 5fer in Aus which is rare by beating batsmen in the flight.
