veer Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 India will fail once we bat first or once we get gud target.. Lanka and Austalia will be a challenge..
Cricketics Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 What's also startling is our success in World Cup tournaments in South Africa even when we've had no success in bilateral series there. Reached the finals of the 2003 World Cup and won the 2007 T20 World Cup. That is true. ANd we bowled well in those tournament, which is another good fact.
Ram Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Absolutely not the case. We were miserable in two of the last four world cups (WC 1999 and WC 2007). And apart from our win in the inaugural T20 WC in 2007, our performances in that event have been pretty much miserable up until this point. In contrast to this, if there's one team that consistently seem to outperform in ICC events compared to their otherwise average world rankings, it is New Zealand.
maniac Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 I think this attack is very underrated for this tournament especially with Misraji hitting form....Raina is bowling well, can he be our Yuvi2011 good part-time option?

India still did pretty well in the 2012 T20 World Cup and I don't think even Indian fans expected the team to win the 2013 Champions Trophy, much less in the comprehensive manner in which they did.
yoda Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 We definitely do raise the level of play in ICC tourneys.
TNAmarkFrmIndia Posted April 5, 2014 Author Posted April 5, 2014 12th consecutive win in ICC events. :hatsoff:
