SLICKR392 Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 BCCI can't pick the interim chief., can they? Shivlal Yadav won't be the interim chief. SC suggested Gavaskar's name or some other former cricket or a clean and reputed person.
SLICKR392 Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Dhonikonda :(( Don't think he is any grave trouble.

FischerTal Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Don't think he is any grave trouble. his influence in the team will reduce greatly though, which is good for indian cricket. you need healthy competition instead of just one person running the show
SLICKR392 Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 his influence in the team will reduce greatly though' date=' which is good for indian cricket. you need healthy competition instead of just one person running the show[/quote'] Yep. Will be ripped off from the India cements VP post too, probably.
Sachin=GOD Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 SC proposes that Gavaskar or some other senior cricketer be named BCCI's Interim Prez. RR and CSK be suspended. No person associated with India Cements to be part of BCCI / All these are just proposals and BCCI has been given til tomorrow to reply on these after which the SC will pass its interim order. IMO Gavaskar can do the job IF there is no pressure from Srini/Pawar/Dalmiya or other camps from within the BCCI - its upto the SC to make sure that that happens.
SLICKR392 Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Why Gavaskar:hmmm: Its only a suggestion. Any other former cricketer could be picked.
Crookbond Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Its only a suggestion. Any other former cricketer could be picked. I suggest Narendra Modi or Kejriwal. :vroam:
saneindian Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 All other suggestions are ok but why should the Court be suggesting who should be BCCI president? Also, why Gavaskar and why not someone with impeccable administrative experience as the post of BCCI president doesn't have to do much with cricketing matters (though it has been misused in the past by almost all BCCI presidents)?
Iconoclast Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Great day for world cricket if this keeps (and it should) Srinivasan from becoming ICC Chief !

FischerTal Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 I suggest Narendra Modi or Kejriwal. :vroam: murgi, are you any good at chess?
Guest Indiana Jones Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Did they asked him to step down or step aside for a while?
