India vs Pakistan - who really has been the better side over the years?

It's really obvious to me i dont think it even deserves a debate. Till around 2002 it was Pakistan Since then it's India. Now a days Pakistan team will collapse as soon as there is little pressure on them. However, i hope you do understand that Pakistan is an extremely corrupt nation. It's mind boggling how Kamran and Malik find a way back in the team and this corruption will only increase. You will never see the best Pakistan XI. India is just a better country in general even outside cricket. They got over Tendulkar/Dravid and didnt let under performing players like Sehwag and Gambhir come back. Instead invested in players like Dhawan/Rahane/Shami which will eventually pay off. One thing though India needs to completely get rid of Ishant Sharma, there are much better bowlers than him.

Honestly , Pakistan has been the better overall team after all just look at their H2H record. Pakistan has beaten India more times than India has beaten Pakistan so its quite simple really . Having said that I will take the WC record over lead in H2H matches anyway. I wont mind losing countless Odis to Pakistan as long as India keeps winning the most important Bangalores and Mohalis.

head to head is exactly what it means, one team has more wins and is better. no need to bring up type of tournaments, importance of matches etc etc. its typically the losers who are at the bad end of the loss column who bring up this stuff. im sorry but until we erase that h2h deficit to pak we are not a better team than them. it might take a few years maybe a decade or more.
