How does it make a difference ? A pacer will also find it tough to grip the ball. I would rather select a spinner against SA any day over a spinner. 3 spinners are a must.

He's been bowling at a pretty good pace since the NZ tour. @Topic Can't risk to include an extra pacer against a team like South Africa. A pacy bowler like Aaron on these wickets would be a massive mistake against someone like AB who would gobble him up and tatter his confidence in a matter of few deliveries. Duminy has been quiet good against pacers in the SC too. He took turns on the Sri Lankan seamers during SA tour there. We have to open with a spinner against DeKok, Ashwin being the ideal choice. What I don't like is the idea of bowling Jadeja in the deaths. Hasn't been turning it away from the batsman which he often does, rather he bowls lame darts.
