That is like 5-7 years worth of Test matches and he's nearly 37. He will probably retire in either 2015 or 2016. The real competition is between Jaya and Sanga, both have similar amounts of run and both are the same age and probably want to end as the highest run getters for SL. Jaya 11319 Runs Sanga 11151 Runs

Jaya 11319 Runs Sanga 11151 Runs Irrespective of # of runs, Sanag is far better than Jaya. Jaya's a certified FTB while Sanga has a decent away record.

My personal guess is that Jaya retires from ODIs/Tests after 2015 WC while Sanga keeps playing test matches till 2016.

Your dates could be roughly right, they both said they want to quit all international cricket after 2015 but they can change due to other influences.

SLC board shld stop acting like morons for them to continue. If they both retire at same time, SLC team would get an even bigger blow than they got after Murali's retirement.
