G_B_ Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 and the way i see it we will see hoardings with Udhav-Munde-Athavale I know a guy who does promo work for the shiv sena and he told me they will be like a trimurti with Udhav in the middle. These three were crucial in getting the mayayuti alliance sown Udhav and Munde are very close. Which is why sena put in extra efforts to make his niece (Mahajan) win. There were murmurs within the sena ranks why Uddhav was spending somuch muscle on what they saw as an unattainable seat. Btw Munde married the sister of Pramod Mahajan.
Precambrian Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 AAP's Shazia Ilmi comes 5th after Cong, BSP and SP. Looks like we have all over-rated her and AAP. This, everybody overrated them, and overrated Delhi. Delhi is not India in the first place. But undue blow up was given to its election results which by no means was more remarkable than say a Jagan Reddy's performance in AP (although the means by which he did :cantstop:) In any case, this additional media scrutiny made AAP overconfident and unfocussed and perhaps haughty and arrogant thinking it had the abilitiy to replicate the fluke of Delhi everywhere else. Result? They got burnt everywhere including Delhi with the exception of Punjab. Right now they are not even the equivalent of YSR Cong or even Shivasena... media needs to tone down and treat them in that regard.
game_changerr Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 he should but not the thakarey style..... his son(aditya)looks more seasoned ,mature and level headed than his dad or OTT uncle raj

BlackMamba Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 even naveen patnaik doesnt know oriya but his party is doing well Exactly -- People better realize -- soon -- only one thing people are taking into account -- Development, Development & Development -- Vikas, Vikas aur Vikas ! Gone are the dark days of Indira. Only some states like WB and Kerala seem to living in those Stone Ages, but rest have moved on !
G_B_ Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 his son(aditya)looks more seasoned ' date='mature and level headed than his dad or OTT uncle raj[/quote'] he is another 10 years and the sena will be really strong with Aditya around. If you look at mumbai university elections. He monopolised them and many unions for the sena. Thats the difference between a rahul gandhi and aditya thakarey. From a young age Aditya was interested in politics. Even as back as 1999 when the sena was in central government, he was a small boy and he accompanied his father to delhi. eat breathe sleep politics. The aim of Uddhav is to handle the party for 10 years.Keeping the Sena relevant, then hand over to Aditya

RedFever Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 This is the first time i am seeing common people celebrating, congratulating each other on the elections results.
Stuge Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 This is the first time i am seeing common people celebrating' date=' congratulating each other on the elections results.[/quote'] People are happy because they expect stable govt , which did not happen since 1984 .It does't matter who comes in power BJP or congress(BJP got a stable mandated on their own ) right now .. Stable govt was the need of the hour to get things moving in the right direction .

Where as UPA kept on going from communal stuff to caste and blah blah. I have never seen this where the Ruling party goes defensive instead of setting the pace of the election. Also, Modi ran this campaign in full management style. The case study will be awesome. He infused the consciousness of people by being present there 100 % of time.
