diga Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 And eating an animal only when it is butchered by a person belonging to a particular religion and invoking certain chants makes one pure? or taking organs only from their own ilk
Desi Cartman Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 And eating an animal only when it is butchered by a person belonging to a particular religion and invoking certain chants makes one pure? Are you saying that since other people are dumb, we should also believe in the below statement because its level of craziness might be slightly lower or at par? Lal said. "For a crime-free Bharat, it is necessary that our children drink only Indian cow's milk because it makes them saatvik (virtuous). By drinking the milk of Jersey cows and buffaloes, their minds get harmful ideas, which make them criminals."

Lal said. "For a crime-free Bharat, it is necessary that our children drink only Indian cow's milk because it makes them saatvik (virtuous). By drinking the milk of Jersey cows and buffaloes, their minds get harmful ideas, which make them criminals." No. Look at who is making the statement. He is the President of the Akhil Bhartiya Gau Sewa. Obviously, he and his group have a special affinity towards cows. If he makes a statement glorifying cows, is that newsworthy? On similar lines, if a Muslim cleric makes a statement saying that those who eat animals not butchered by a Muslim and without reciting certain chants are going to hell, is Mr. Amir bhai above going to report that too?
Desi Cartman Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 No. Look at who is making the statement. He is the President of the Akhil Bhartiya Gau Sewa. On similar lines, if a Muslim cleric makes a statement saying that those who eat animals not butchered by a Muslim and without reciting certain chants are going to hell, is Mr. Amir bhai above going to report that too? Its newsworthy because its a stupid thing to say, its RSS mission and the group is RSS affiliate. Wouldn't have mattered if they have nothing to do with RSS either. Why does there need to be equality when it comes to laughing at stupid statements? Did you ask for equality in the other thread where everybody is laughing at that Islamic school principal in Australia?

Did you ask for equality in the other thread where everybody is laughing at that Islamic school principal in Australia? Sir, I have not even commented in that thread. I do not find it necessary to comment in every thread that is created here. You have to look at a statement in the context it was said in. No doubt, it it factually incorrect. But obviously, if he is the President of an organization that glorifies cows, he is going to make statements glorifying cows. So, what is so newsworthy in that? Also, look at where Mr. Amir Bhai has posted this statement. What has this statement got to do with "ache din"? Can you explain to me. This is just another of his attempts at earning cheap Internet points by showing that such statements are made when Modi is the PM.

I did not know where to post this hilarious news .did not want to clutter by creating new thread. There is : modi sarkar performance thread ( only Govt related performance info there ) BJP Thread ( Party specific info ) Given it's sarcastic title , this thread was the only general info, satire thread available (related to BJP,RSS,sanghis ) I thought it was hilarious , that RSS affiliates discriminate between Cows too :haha:

diga Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Govt cancels licences of 8,975 NGOs.. Modi is making far too many enemies.

Desi Cartman Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Govt cancels licences of 8' date='975 NGOs.. Modi is making far too many enemies.[/quote'] He will start losing popularity in a year or two, not saying that he will be unpopular so all the hard strategic decisions need to be made now.
diga Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 ^ they are entitled to do that as NGO's have not filed their tax returns... hopefully in those 6 months, govt can push through much needed approvals for industry
Yoda-esque Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 Govt cancels licences of 8' date='975 NGOs.. Modi is making far too many enemies.[/quote'] only 229 responded back..says something..
Texan Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 We have far too many of these so called NGOs, which are nothing but money laundering fronts.
amiret Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 Who will cancel the registration of these 2 NGO's for accepting illegal foreign donations ? "Delhi High court found both political parties (BJP & Cong) flouting the norms of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCR) by accepting donations from UK-based Vedanta Resources and its subsidiary companies in India. Section 4 of the FCR Act prohibits a political party or legislator from accepting foreign contributions." “Prima facie the acts of the respondents (Congress and BJP) inter se, clearly fall foul of the ban imposed under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act as the donations accepted by the political parties from Sterlite and Sesa accrue from ‘foreign sources’ within the meaning of law,” the bench said. http://www.thehindu.com/news/national/bjp-congress-flouted-foreign-funding-norms-delhi-hc/article5844269.ece While some NGO's in India fight for the rights of victims of the Bhopal Gas tragedy , another NGO was caught taking illegal (under FCRA ) donations from Dow Chemicals . http://archive.indianexpress.com/news/donation-to-bjp-from-dow-chemical-illegal-cong/323596/

Political parties are not allowed to take any foreign donations, unlike NGOs which can. The registration of political parties cannot be cancelled by the Home Ministry, only the Election Commission has that power. The registration of NGOs was not cancelled for receiving foreign donations, but for not filing their tax returns. The popularity of political parties is judged by the people of India. They live and die according to how well they serve people. The foreign funded NGOs, on the other hand, usually work to destroy India for their foreign masters, and have no such check on them.
amiret Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 " Farmers committing suicide are cowards, why should govt help them: Haryana minister" Haryana agriculture minister and BJP leader OP Dhankar triggered a controversy by describing farmers who commit suicide as cowards and criminals not worthy of help from the government. "Why should we help them?" Dhankar said on Tuesday, adding the Haryana government could not support such farmers. bulbul Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Bharat Mala: PM Narendra Modi's planned Rs 14,000 crore road from Gujarat to Mizoram Bharat Mala is the name given to a ambitious programme of the Modi government — a road built along India's vast west-toeast land border, from Gujarat to Mizoram, at a cost of around Rs 14,000 crore, and linking that to a road network in coastal states, from Maharashtra to Bengal. This is a road network that will, as it were, garland the territory of India. Hence the name. http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/economy/infrastructure/bharat-mala-pm-narendra-modis-planned-rs-14000-crore-road-from-gujarat-to-mizoram/articleshow/47090250.cms The government hopes to finish the project in five years. The project will start from Gujarat and Rajasthan, move to Punjab and then cover the entire string of Himalayan states - Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand - and then portions of borders of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar alongside Terai, and move to Sikkim, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, and right up to the Indo-Myanmar bord The roads department doesn't see funding as a problem - it has the mandate to spend at least Rs 1 lakh crore a year. Land acquisition and environmental clearances are the main challenges, the department feels.

There was lot of road infrastructure development during previous NDA govt as well tbh

I have serious doubts whether we can really compete with big nations in foreseeable future. :((
