It has also made the point that a bulk of P-Notes investments were from overseas jurisdictions such as the Cayman Islands, a tax haven that accounted for 31 per cent of all foreign inflows from offshore derivative instruments. The worry is on account of the fact that the outstanding value of PNs at the end of February 2015 was 2.715 lakh crore — which, if unwound, can lead to carnage in a market where local institutional investors are not as influential. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has, however, assured that there would be no kneejerk reaction. Concerns have been expressed over anonymous investors who are beyond the reach of Indian regulators or taxmen, and over indications that wealthy Indians, including promoters of Indian companies, have been using this route to bring back unaccounted funds and to rig their stocks. If Govt has evidence against wealthy Indians who are round-tripping Black money by misusing P-Notes and Tax havens and rigging prices of Stocks , they should take action without any fear of repercussions in the Stock market . Governments have no evidence against people horading black money. They have estimates. Wealthy Indians do not need to hide money. They use loopholes in tax system. It is NOT wealthy Indians like politicians/beureucrats and their families who got black money. Modi, please Start with Sonia ji and Jamaai Raza.

According to an estimate, around 37,000 people are living in Indian enclaves in Bangladesh while 14,000 people are staying in Bangladeshi enclaves in India. According to AFP : " Residents can choose to live in India or Bangladesh and will be granted citizenship. They can stay put or choose to move across the 4,000km long border ".

New Delhi: A day after India warned of a "a befitting reply" to terror attacks like this week's strike in Gurdaspur in Punjab, sources say there is "no credible evidence" that the Pakistan government was aware of the plot that ended with seven people killed in a small town just 18 km from the border. Home Minister Rajnath Singh said in Parliament the three terrorists who opened fire at a public bus on Monday and then attacked a police station were from Pakistan. The government, however, quickly stressed that talks with top Pakistani officials are unlikely to be derailed. Sources point out that the Home Minister did not reference "Pakistan-based terror or Pakistan-sponsored terror" in his statement to Parliament. They said this indicates a careful attempt by the government to not blame the Pakistani administration.
