maniac Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Ok so 15 degrees is measured in the lab using all the hi-tech equipment and based on that chuckers are cleared, fair enough but how does the umpire know if the chuckers are chucking at 15 degrees. ...for all we know he could be at 15.5 or 16.6....this rule makes no sense to me. Can Pakistan and srilankan fans defending this explain, how a bowler is evaluated on field if he is bowling every delivery within 15?

If you don't like, go back to the old law and start to see bowlers getting called as a parts of conspiracies. There will be nothing to stop an umpire calling a bowler for chucking as it will be according to HIS decision. It would be hilarious to see Dharmasena no balling Steyn or Rod Tucker no balling Ashwin on their PERSONAL judgement of the cation.
