Ishant has played so many games before actually taking wickets and u dont mention his name. There is no guarantee that Ishant will do well in the next series.

I think Pankaj will be persisted for next match.What I said was Pankaj carrer also will end if he does not take ang wickets in subsequent tests. Dhoni persist with Ishant because he gives less than 3 runs per over and occasionally takes wickets.Also Ishant made an impact in his first test series by bowling well to Pontjng and getting him out few times in Australia, when Ponting was somewhat in his prime. So he was persisted becausd he took few wickets.
