Can We afford both Jadeja and Binny in the same X1

Doesn't change the fact he is a. It's and pieces cricketer.....can you call him a premier spinner who deserves a spot based on his bowling alone? Even Marcus north has a 6 wkt haul. As a batsman do you think he has either the technique or temperament to survive at a test level....he might get the odd 50 but it is no less different from Bhuvi and Shamis innings earlier.....you can't rely on him to have a consistent run.

I would gamble on Ashwin over Jadeja.....Better bat and comparable bowler if not better....A guy who has reached one of the fastest 100 wickets for India and has some good innings in difficult conditions,He was judged on Aus performance which is a graveyard for finger spinners where he did get better as the series progressed and 1 test in S.A.....Durban recently has been helpful for spinners and he never got a shot there.....Not saying Ashwin is the best spinner in India but he is leagues ahead of Jadeja as a cricketer. Jadeja is miles ahead of Ashwin as a fielder but Ashwin is decent at slips and we need a slip fielder more than some one in the inner circle

Now Jadeja looks decent in comparison with Binny for sure....but 2 bits and peices in the same X1 is not the way to go....Jadeja can be in the squad as a back up but we have a problem when Binny tags along with Jadeja and that makes the team look terrible.

1 Jadeja per team is fine. He can score 20 runs, block one end with the ball and save 20-25 runs in the field every time. But this ******* Binny is a freaking waste. What did chewtiya management( in this case Captain Corrupt) see in him?

Ashwin was terrible in even that one test in SA.Ev.en Rohit looked betterThats why Jaddu was even tried.Track might have been in his favour but Jaddu got no support from other bowlers.It wasnt easy at all. I rate Ashwin though and on tracks like these,I'd play both. However that doesnt make Jaddu bad.Not sure Ashwin is leagues ahead lol.the 100 wickets we took were mostly at home As for fielding we need both kinds.remember Jaddu taking some good ones in outfield in NZ.got a great run out too.everything matters

Because playing Jadeja is fine once in a while but having 2 hacks at 7 and 8 in batting is a recipe for diaster and having them as our 4th and 5th bowlers is also a disaster......Can afford to have 1 of them batting at 8 and being the 5th bowler but No 7 and No 4 bowler is a bit too much for either one of them......As I said Jadeja is much better than Binny and a good utility player but can't afford to have both

Jadeja is good enough to bat at 8 and being picked as a bowler.Thats all I'm saying.
