In terms of pace who else is there???

I only hear the names of Yadav and Aaron...so that means we have 2 genuinely quick bowlers with Aaron having been out of action for 2+ years due to fitness issues. So let us say as per the average ICFr's dream of packing our side with genuine 140-145+ bowlers,who else is there apart from these 2. I have only seen Bhumrah do it. The other ones who were consistent or touching 140's were Awana and Dinda(Source IPL) So Is there any other much talked about bowler generating the same buzz as these 2 guys generated when they burst on the scene. Does this mean that say we select 6 fast bowlers for on aoverseas tour and do select Yadav and Aaron, the remaining 4 will have to be Tundlers right? :dontknow:

Veer Pratap Singh is another one who hits good pace with outswing and gets extra bounce. 3 pacers from U19 this year, Monu Kumar, short but quickest of the 3 hitting 140, Chama Millind tall and hitting 140 at19 and Avesh Khan, the youngest, but the tallest of the 3 at 17 and still hitting close to 140 with a very good West Indian action.

No, even yesterday Anderson was bowling 85-89 mph range in last session. Thing is swing does not happen always, so one must have an extra gear of pace to counter that situation. Likes of Steyn and Anderson do that because they can get into that extra gear. Even in first test, SL innings collapsed when Anderson found that gear and was consistently around 85-88 mph zone and also getting some movement at that pace.

We've have many 140ish bowlers. Bumrah, Suyal, Nechim are a few. They just need some experience in this 4/5 days matches. Maybe play 1-2 Ranji season then we can think of them. Bumrah has shown what he can do, He should be given some chances in ODIs and T20s. PS : Shami is no trundler!

Tall bouncy pacers bowling 135 to 140 k often have more discomforting effect on batsmen than shorter 140 - 145 k pacers. Because bounce is a very potent hurrying weapon Indian seamers usually are at their fastest between 23 to 31 years. U19 guys bowling 135 to 140 k should bowl 140 to 145 k or more when they reach physical maturity provided their action and approach are not tampered with by coaches.

Kamraan Khan the bowler who was brought forward by Warne and co, who called him tornado and surprise weapon was very promising for me, had very good pace, was a left armed slinger, he is trying his best , played for SL domestic since he does not get a look in U.P side also played a few T20 for U.P, ANOTHER COUNTRY WOULD HAVE RECOGNIZED HIS POTENTIAL AND GROOMED HIM , he could be very useful in odi and t20. M Amir came into limelight as a standby and jr cricketer for Mumbai and never getting a go and they prefer pathetic trundlers, he is a left armer and supposed to be very pacy, also originally from U.P. A Mishra from U.P also seems to be impressive , although quite young has decent pace and action and moves the ball well, performed well for U.P. dELHI CONTINUES TO IGNORE jAVED kHAN LETS HOPE HE PLAYS REGULAR CRICKET FOR THEM AS HE IS SUPPOSEDLY QUITE GOOD.

SUYAL, Aaron, uMESH, pANKAJ, BK, Shami, Pandey would be my first choice for test squad as all have very good S/R AND ARE SKILLFUL BOWLERS WHO HAVE DONE VERY WELL AT DOMESTIC LEVEL CONSISTENTLY, Suyal, Aaron, Umesh, Shami have very good pace and potential to win games for India.

Two newer pacers who caught my eye in terms of pace and bounce this domestic season. Shardul Thakur -- Shorter skiddy pacer who looks very sharp visually , hurried batsmen and has a mean bouncer. Ravi Kiran -- Tall, bouncy and fast medium. Was lifting the ball from short of good length and at decent pace.

To me Avesh Khan was very very promising with Milind also Monu had surprising pace, if want for option I would rather have them in A side then loosers like VK, PK, Ishant, RP.
