express bowling Posted July 27, 2014 Author Posted July 27, 2014 Its not serious.Hes just rested as a precaution.Dhoni said he'd have played if it was an ODI. Should be back for next Test That's a relief.
ShebbySB Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Pankaj should play if Ishant is back, replace Shami not Pankaj.
CG Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 I would not have rested ishant for this match this is the imp one,if we win this then its all over for eng.
Insidious Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 I would not have rested ishant for this match this is the imp one' date='if we win this then its all over for eng.[/quote'] Bowlers need to be rotated sequentially. Especially when we are playing only 3 frontline fastbowlers. we can't afford a player playing with an injury, it is highly risky. Even i am worried about bhuvi, he don't look like the same bowler who had taken 6 wickets in the 1st innings at lords. He should be rested in the next test, if we are going for 6 specialist batsmen+dhoni. Bowling 47 overs at lords had taken life out of him.
peterparker Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Well, it was a TRUCE between ECB AND BCCI, ECB wanted to resurrect the career of cook, and dhoni's mama might have instructred him to drop pissant, so that, cook can get his form back. In the end, everyone is happy. :giggle:
vishalvirsingh Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Aaron in for Binny for 2nd match would be good. Will add pace to the attack. Shami becoming a trundler, not fit enough. i would have preferred Aaron to Pankaj Singh as Varun has genuine Pace and can play the role of enforcer and get wickets ..Pankaj is looking managable by english batsman.
express bowling Posted July 28, 2014 Author Posted July 28, 2014 We need to bowl a few bouncers. Mix it up. The English are too comfortable on the frontfoot.
BlueBee Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 i would have preferred Aaron to Pankaj Singh as Varun has genuine Pace and can play the role of enforcer and get wickets ..Pankaj is looking managable by english batsman. He's not bad. Should rest Booby and play Aaron for 4th test.
CSK Fan Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 He's not bad. Should rest Booby and play Aaron for 4th test. Rest our best bowler on the tour. :cantstop: Bacche aur unki pyari baatein
BlueBee Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Rest our best bowler on the tour. :cantstop: Bacche aur unki pyari baatein Where is his pace? 118ks? :reddy: He's tired even Shami needs to be rested.
express bowling Posted July 28, 2014 Author Posted July 28, 2014 Atlast some good bouncers by Pankaj. Should have tried it yesterday too. It's strange that this strategy was not used at all , after last test's success.
King Tendulkar Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Pankaj our most impressive seamer this match
express bowling Posted July 28, 2014 Author Posted July 28, 2014 Pankaj our most impressive seamer this match True. Shami has not been bad either.
SLICKR392 Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 True. Shami has not been bad either. Shami has been very inconsistent. He needs a reality check,
