Speeds and Performances of Pacers and Spinners

Recommended Posts

In his 3rd over, Prasidh bowls just 1 ball in the good length area. And just 1 more short ball with effort.

Needs to bowl all 6 there unless he is bowling a proper bouncer or yorker.

After bowling such wonderful lengths in his last 5 overs last match, this poor length is puzzling me

Maybe he thinks his length balls won't hit the stump due to his bounce.shorter bowlers find it easier to hit the stumps from length.

Fuller side of good length would ensure that stumps are hit.

Moreover, he has bowled quite a few non-bouncer short balls.

Margin is smaller ,shorter bowler have a bigger margin with this kind of tactics.

In white ball cricket, the first priority is not

getting hit.

Whenever Prasidh has bowled a good length and decent line, he has not been hit.

Even if stumps are missed, it does not matter as catches can be induced.

There are lots of good quality white ball bowlers who are tall ... and they usually do better than shorter bowlers.

Everyone seems to be playing kuldeep on the back foot these days.

With his slow speed ,he has no answer for this.

He still hasnt found an answer,i dont know how long he can continue like this .

He might manage to bowl economically  every other time but he wont be as big a wicket taker like he was before, unless he figures it out

kuldeep with all his grunts still cant bowl above 80kph,he shouldn't be forced into it.

He should stick to what he knows best, try to beat batters in flight.

This pitch is a belter though ,we are clearly short of runs.
