This is the exact point I was making earlier. Indian commentators are ready to talk about and promote the speeds of "Phoren Speedsters " only.

 

Indians will have to be medium pacers even when they clock 147 k.

 

Last match Fastest Balls  ....

 

Bumrah    147 kph

Shami       144 kph

Siraj           144 kph 

 

Lots of 140 k+ balls by all 3 Indians quicks while bowling with superb accuracy and consistent movement. 

 

But no mention of this by any Indian commentator.

Was bowling 135 k to 146 k in full flow before this WC.

 

Pretty much same speeds that Indian quicker pacers bowl.

An odd delivery at 150 k + in a random T20 game gets hyped by foreigners. Happened with Riley Meredith and Spencer Johnson too. 

 

If someone is really quick then he will bowl atleast 3 or 4 balls at 150 k to 152 k or higher in that match.

yes their is a perception that quick pacers can be expensive not realizing they can win a game in a spell too.

Thing  is with our trundlers is they are the most wayward breed in the world

For their pace their line  lengths seems perennially erratic barring very few matches

Neither they are tall enough nor they have anything extra to compensate with(read batting and fielding)
