Why do people want rohit back?

Recommended Posts

Okay' date=' he has played very few matches overseas, it wouldn't be much of a difference if he comes in place of binny. if he clicks, it will be a huge boost to indian batting line up.[/quote'] England bowling is so weary that guys like Kohli, Dhawan, Pujara wil cash in. You may not need 6th batsman. Hardest part of the tour is complete.

What if Rohit flops big time in the series.. you will have 4 weary Indian bowlers who will be bowled to the ground and England will stage a come back out of nowhere.

Didn't hurt us. We survived the worst.

even kohli is a big flop, so does dhawan. My hunch is that rohit did a very good job in CT, he might be a success here. as i said b4, dhoni not gnna give the ball to panni

You guys are assuming Rohti automatically turn up and score 100' date=' 200. If he can do,, i can safely assume Pujara, Kohli will score 200, 300. or even Ashwin score 100.[/quote'] Exactly! Just because he's on the bench people think he's gonna score hundreds. We have enough batsmen and most, even dhawan, have scored 30+. Bowling is a bigger concern as binny has no use as of now and id rather play a 4th seamer. Keeps other 3 seamers fresh and adds variety if we have varun aaron.

Dhoni wont bowl Binny anyways so that is a moot point
Result of that idiotic tactic almost hurt us but for some bizzarre batting from England. Bhuvi was clocking 72 mph . He could barely walk. Shami and Ishant could not go on forever . You are left with Jaddu that's it. Having an option is a must. Not going in with an option is a huge risk considering none of our top order can be considered a decent bowler.

Playing binny does not serve any purpose except pleasing mayanti.Binny is not going to bowl.We can replace binny with ashwin or aaron.

That is what i am saying too. Either Ashwin or Aaron pr Pankaj should repalce him. You need a 5th bowler ( seamers or ashwin) or 5th bowling option(Binny). No need of 6th batsman. That too Rohit as 6 is very unreliable abroad.

Yup. Jadeja was creating no trouble at all on the fifth day. Ishant was nearing the end of his spell. Shami was ineffective and Bhuvi was tired. England
