Even shami"s pace is just great but shammi has bowled 3 balls on the leg..6 balls on and around off stump will gurantee success. Aaron possibly should be in rhythm..He was getting wickets in ranji and iPl. ..

Shammi blew away West indies on Indian tracks by some swing but mostly on pace...Aaron is even faster...I guess if pankaj Aaron shammi are in rhythm..We will win. Pankaj shud do better than previous test and shammi too...I beleive Aaron will bowl well for sure. Aaron has so much pace that it's nearly impossible for a batsman to save himself in a 5 over spell...If varun is bowling well. Just see Aaron overs he always fetches wickets...but His back is a bit of a question mark. I mean to say if he is bowling ok and he is used ...I mean given 20 overs..He is bound to succeed.

Shami blew them away with reverse. He was getting a prodigious amount of movement, no other bowlers was able to move the ball that much in that series

:haha: On a serious note, its time to stop fantasizing about Aaron, Yadav etc. The bubble will keep building up until he plays, and will burst once he runs in to bowl. Steven Finn is quicker than Aaron.

No. For Finn, it is about rhythm. He can be as quick as any when in great rhythm, otherwise not. He is like Broad, up and down pace.

If the pitch has pace and carry then aaron should play. I think our pace has been bit one dimensional in the previous test. There was no one who could bowl a decent bouncer to them with a bit more pace. Shami look jaded and the others just don't have it in them. since aaron was really good in ipl with his short deliveries, especially in UAE, and has a decent yorker in his armoury, i think he is just the one the team needed at the moment. IMO india should play 5 regular bowlers and use aaron in short spells where he can be effective.

It is about rhythm for most fast bowlers and Aaron is no different. Agree about this but Aaron is not so much dependent on rhythm to generate pace, while Finn is. Finn generates pace with his runup, very much like Ishant. Both have shortened their runups now. Even on his worst days, Aaron will be in 140-145K range in T20s and ODIs, cannot say about tests as he is yet to play them. While Finn was struggling to clock 140 last time he played.

While Finn was struggling to clock 140 last time he played.[/quote'] Varun Aroon was fetching wickets on Indian DEAD and Flat Tracks- if the Pitch in test 4 is genuinely PACY and Fast - then English Fans are surely going to be disappointed and as I read newspapers.. i am hearing VARUN AROON is most likely to PLAY in the Eleven. That would be a Great NEWS for me and I would possibly See each ball that He bowls at... He will not only get wickets but he Will also injure and hit atleast 3 to 4 Batsman.... English batsman- Beware this BOWLER first injures and then gets u Out.

No. I have seen Steve Finn bowl 140-145, 135-140, 145-150, as well as 130-135 k. He has huge fluctuations in pace. Varun is either 140-150 k or 135-145 k. Far more consistent in terms of pace. More pertinently, he is the only one with genuine pace in this team, in the absence of Umesh. Also, in the absence of Ishant , he will be able to provide some bounce --- not as steep but quicker.

First when I saw him on TV. .He was faster and more dangerous than broad and even Anderson...bowling 143 to 152 k....that's the time when he nearly fu...d raha ne. ..He used to injure raha ne and then get him out. Even other indian batsman...All old greats....Nobody Knew wat a bowler he was. Once I saw him bowling sorry trundling 135 k ...that was like a joke ....FInn converted from gun to gun played by kids in holi
