Most likely figures for batsmen and bowlers

Since we have a few days to go before the next test, I thought of making a thread on what your general impression of a bowler/batsman is i.e what would most of their Test innings look like...kind of like median as opposed to mean in statistical terms... This is intended to be a fun thread only...we can add separate kind of figures for certain conditions/situations... Let me start off with a few... Dravid - 60 (115 ) in India and SC ; 70(160) outside Laxman - 50(80) in India and SC ; 40(70) outside except Aus; 90(150) in Aus Kumble - 30-9-70-4 in India and SC; 45-12-115-3 outside Afridi - 20(20) in SC; 2(6) outside... Pls add yours...

Okay, you precisely speaking about last 2 years and 4 month, phase that started on 21st July 2011 and ended 14th Nov 2013. If you state 3 years, then you includes his SA series as well, where he had averaged 81.50. But anyways, you picked worst 2 years of a player and projecting that as likely score of a career that lasted 24 years.

i always maintained sachin shld have retired long back .. :beee: IMO , IMHO in tests there are half a dozen batsmen who are as good as him.. but what makes sachin better than others is that no one is as good as sachin when both tests and odis combined ..
