They can be boring as hell on flat tracks, however when there is juice in the wicket it definitely brings out the best out of everyone. The unique things with tests is that even defense can be good to watch, however only against top bowling on a juicy pitch, spin or pace. Of late there seem to be fewer flat tracks with more results than not.

My opinion is that our cricketers would drop more catches in day night matches, given that they drop so many even during daylight.

Already bilateral test series in womens cricket have been played. That is another way ICC is promoting the test format recently.

People no longer have the time to watch 8 hours of cricket a day. Tests, on the other hand is a completely different format and can co-exist with T20.

Test cricket has already been on the ventilator for quite some time.. without monies from T20s and ODIs it wouldn't last.

If you use that argument there would never have been a ODI without tests duh. What a lame logic. Test crickett did not need T20 until 2006. Lol suddenly they need t20 . Quite farcical argument . If ICC decides to ban t20 what will you do? You can't do anything about it. India was arich cricket board even before invention of t20s.

In the end it is the free market which decides, not sentiments etc. Moreover the subtle message people want to convey is that t20 is somehow responsible for Indias problem which is far from the truth.
