He should have done this before the series not after the series , look what Sanga did, he played county cricket before series and it benefited him so much. Let us not write these youngsters off . these guys are willing to work hard , they failed yes but if they make this as a learning curve and become better players after this experience Indian team will be better served.

This is not the last time he will play in England. Its better for him to play 4 day cricket to get back his form and get used to the conditions while he is here rather than carry water bottles to hacks like Manan Vohra or Valthaty and sit in Kings X1 dugout in Champions League. But this may be what Precambrian or other T20 fans might be hoping for.

Maybe, but at least credit to him for trying to fix the problem. Look at Indians that have failed consistently overseas, they wait till they return to India where with the docile batting cement pitches allow them to score triple centuries. If India wants to do well in Test cricket they need to pay players like Pujara and Vijay money to not play IPL but to play domestic cricket in England and Australia.
