kosingh Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Raw pace is useless without accuracy & we know how accurate yadav is from what he did in BD. Problem is, pretty much all of our huge army of gentle medium pacers are neither fast nor accurate. So take the fast guy.

The thing is that MS has some personal issues with him and he knows how to misuse his position to settle his personal scores with yadav.

No domestic tourneys going on atm. He was released for aus A tour. He will learn more being close to the team under the best coaches. This isn't the first time a player is being made to sit out. Rahane, tiwary, etc were also made to sit out. Ishwar is still sitting out for months pending improvement

Aap smajh nhi rahe hain. Umesh ki phoren tour ho gayi. Mrs ki shopping bhi ho gayi. BCCI sponsored vacation. Aur koi mehnat mushakkat wala kaam, i.e cricket, bhi nhi karna pada. This is how Dhoni respects Umesh. The other trundler like bhuvi and kulkarni have to slog it off in meaning less games against the minnow English side. Umesh shouldn't be complaining at all.:musicman:

express bowling Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 A wicket taking 90 mph pacer , in a country like India with bad pacers, gets only 2 ODIs , 0 tests and 0 t20s in 2 years when Dhoni is captain !! There is something seriously wrong between Yadav and Dhoni.

Reality check for you: Current World champions - check Current Champions trophy winners - check Rank 1 ODI side - check But hey, we lost some no name series in SA and NZ so we should sack THE MOST SUCESSFUL CAPTAIN IN INDIAN ODI HISTORY, just on the eve of the WC. That is some sound logic. What more does Dhoni need to do to get your acceptance?

Pace can be a great weapon even in the limited format. I am not talking about England here with their weird fetish for only Ashes And not to forget that Yadav hasn't played tests for 2 years now
