Meanwhile, sources close to the PCB revealed on Wednesday that off-spinners Atif Maqbool and Misbah Khan both have reportedly exceeded the ICC limit of 15 degrees when they were tested at the NCA. Atif’s bowling action was measured around 30-32 degrees. It was not clear whether the figure was for ‘doosra’. Likewise, Misbah was found to be bowling in the region of 25 degrees.

i guess the other offspinner from Pak could also be a chucker... and yes the right decision is made by ICC for Ajmal.. one could observe thru naked eyes that He chucked ALL. i also beleive that Lankan fast bowler TALINGA is also a clear chucker...

Yeah its harder to say from the backside. If we go by Murali's video which I posted on the 3rd page, a ball looks more like a chuck from the backside than the front side. In that video, Saqlain doesn't look like he is extending his elbows too much even from the backside. Its bent but he doesn't extend it too much (which is what counts).

Saqlain used The Doosra as a surprise delivery where as Ajmal bowled one every other over.....but obviously the action was not as dodgy as say Afridi's Faster ball which was another clear chuck.

According to Padosi site his avg flex was 30 degrees and some of the bowls had a flex of 40 degrees. Blatant Chucker.

A chuck needs elbow extension. Bent arm means nothing. Where is the extension there in the Saqlain video? For chucking you never pause a frame. That's NOT how you calculate it. You take a time period (around the time when a ball is to be delivered) and then calculate the how much the arms extend (i.e angle).

Chuckridi doesn't matter ...he is a rubbish bowler....averages 60 against as...he can chuck all he wantsB->

See from 0:33 to 0:35. Hardly extends his bent elbows. His action is fine.

Ok let me explain what I see in that Video......I see a Flex of clearly more than 15degrees and at the Time of delivery,His Arm is not Straight enough and it is clearly over 15 degrees as visible to the naked eye. Now I don't get and will never get this extension BS which is just a rule of convenience to support a couple of chuckers....For me a Straight overarm action is legal,everything else is chucking. Simple question-If Someone had bowled that deliverY in Gully cricket in India Would that be NoBall or not?
