India is loosing very badly overseas.What are the solution that can improve India 's chances when it tours Australia

India 's batting backbone of Pujara & Kohli severly crumbled in England.If India has to win in Australia,this two has to contribute in bulk with able support from Dhawan,Vijay & Rahane

I'm not worried with Pujara or Kohli, they'll return to form soon. Kohli might have found his rhythm in last game. We need do better at the close in areas. Slips, Covers etc..

even when pujara and kohli did well, we still lost series and matches. what we need is: - Aggressive captaincy first and foremost - that will take care of the rest. - runs on the board - a good bowling attack which comes from genuine pacers + BK who could get quicker + 1 spinner. 4 Seamers + ashwin sounds good for now, dont want binny in and it means we need to solidify batting. Hence i would drop dhoni in tests and get n ohja or someone like that since saha is injured. - 110% commitment no matter the match situation

Does the bowling attack of Aaron ,Yadav,Shami,Kumar,Ashwin will make difference in overall perfomance in Australia

- Change of captain / coach - More positive approach to the game. Look at ways to win the game, no matter how bad the situation is - Play 4 bowlers + Ashwin - Rotate fast bowlers. Give them adequate breaks between spells and rest them for a match after they play two in a row - DO NOT DROP CATCHES AT SLIP - 100% commitment These changes don't guarantee a win. But would take them closer to at least putting up a fight and not meekly surrender in 2.5 days

Reiterating a point - In the middle of all the debate on 5 bowlers / 6 batsmen, I guess Ashwin provides a solution to both. He can be the fifth bowler and bat at 6 or 7. I see him as potential captaincy material ahead of Kohli, Pujara.... He is an automatic selection for Tests played in India.... if only he does reasonably well in overseas tests, he'd be my pick for captain

aussies create captains all the time, i.e. clarke, bailey, and now even finch. Finch may not be good, we dont know but australia take the risk and have a positive attitude. Yet we cant even have a new t20 captain because? Dhoni has overstayed his welcome.

One of the most obvious solution is change in captaincy.A new captain may bring positive attitude,will handle fast bowlers better & may prefer Aaron,Umesh over Mohit,Binny

Sack dhoni and srini. Get in place guys who want Indian to sincerely win and have some cricket brain! Make selection purely meritocracy(this gain means sacking dhoni), pick team based purely on benefits of Indian team winning, not ANY other agendas. Back fast bowlers, pick them , develop them. Need skipper who understands this. Make domestic pitches of more variety with many more like overseas tracks. Make indian skipper accountable to results of national team.

Until the test line up stops playing all year round in non-test/non- first class cricket- forget about improvement. Eg Kohlj and Pujara spent the time before England tour fully engrossed in IPL. That's why our test players are so bad against spin now- they hardly play any first class cricket. What did Joe Root and Jos Butler do immediately after T20 vs India? Went back to county cricket. Whereas most of out boys will move onto champions league t20. At least Pujara has the brain to realise this- must be his father's influence

I agree with this. I don't have a problem with playing IPL but they should also play competitive longer version cricket to be at their best. If they don't get challenged, they won't be at their best. At least, make test players play in some Ranji Trophy, Duleep trophy games and prepare variety of pitches at home. Too much IPL or cricket on flat tracks will make players relax and complacency will creep in and they will struggle when they play at the top level.
