I've noticed that in a lot of photographs on various social media platforms, women do this particular pose where they tilt their head......like below Why do they do so.....I mean.....what is the science behind this? Is there a science behind this? I understand why people do 3/4 profile turns and why women do the pelvis hinge........but this head tilting business I don't get........any theories?

When you tilt your neck will be visible which will give an illusion that you have longer neck than for real. However, what annoys is me is that in the second link, they don't explain why tilting your head towards either shoulder looks like whatever......they just say that it does...... I did read somewhere that showing one's neck is often considered to be an attempt at subtle seduction......maybe it has something to do with that.......

I don't say they tilt their neck to reveal one full side of neck. But since it gives an appeal they do that.

Especially your face looks bigger than actually is. So by having thiis BJ mouth :cantstop: they try to give a slimmer look. Just a theory.

That knd of a behaviour in public place can be very dangerous, mann mein rakho, yeh baatein bolne ki nahi hoti.

Having studied anatomy........tall people do usually have longer necks, barring structural abnormalities......so maybe the tilting and making the neck more prominent is an attempt to look taller.....it is quite plausible......it is well known the lengths women go to look tall Also, why do women take selfies with that stupid duck face on? Now this is only my theory......but I think it's mostly done to hide the chubbiness on the face......most importantly in that pic......Kim has her head in a somewhat 3/4 profile.......which is a common hack to make the face look thinner......the duck face stretches out most of the facial muscles in the mid and lower parts of the face and I guess makes it look even more thin......
