Laaloo Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Dhoni has nothing to lose here..I am sure ITC is repenting for its mistake.. yeah hotel was the one who stormed out and left oh wait .... :vroam:
Malcolm Merlyn Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 If you are going to bend rules for money then it is not 5 star hotel it is 3rd rate lodge. Forget about allowing or not. What kind of an idiot would even think of taking food from outside to five star restaurant and eat there whether they allow or not :cantstop: . 1.He was not taking it to the restaurant. He wanted to use their boardroom. 2.Just read about the hotels and how they catered to the demands of players in thd fifa wc 2014.Or even the english teams demand in 2013 ashes down under.

Why can't he eat in the hotel room like they said. Rules differ from hotels to hotels.. Even small hotels have strict policy of not allowing outside food. Why can't he just accept and instead of throwing tamper tantrum and get the entire squad to leave the hotel. You think someone like Dravid/Tendulkar would have behaved that way?

Once again it is completely the hotel's discretion if they allow special requests. How do you know what tone was used while asking?
CSK Fan Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 I still don't see a single Dhoni supporter addressing the security aspect or the hassle caused to the local police. They are all busy saying hotel should provide the moon for special customers. Looks like special treatment for powerful people is ingrained on our blood. And then we blame politicians and Robert Vadra or Ambani for misusing power
Precambrian Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Lol 7 pages discussion on what is a non issue really. Customer is king. Dhoni just showed that. And lol at people weeping for loss of business to a 5 star hotel. What extent people go to vent their anti dhoni frustrations

You think someone like Dravid/Tendulkar would have behaved that way? Its a free market world, u impose artificial restrictions ur competition doesnt, i move onto the next. Why should the customer have to put up with the hotel's "rules" when he wouldnt have to in a similar hotel, where he can pay same and get more freedom?
yoda Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 As long as the team decided together to move out, it should be ok.

Why should the hotel should put up with pig headed celebrities. Good for them to say f*** off to that bonehead.
vvvslaxman Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 If it were to be dee pika padukone throwing temper tantrum reaction would have been different. But captain cool, rigid ass dhoni whatever he does is right.
Malcolm Merlyn Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Once again it is completely the hotel's discretion if they allow special requests. How do you know what tone was used while asking? And its Dhoni's/Bccis discretion to leave the hotel.
Precambrian Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Why should the hotel should put up with pig headed celebrities. Good for them to say f*** off to that bonehead. It seems like it happened the other way around, pig headed managers were asked to **** off by customers. The customers aren't dependent on the hotels. It's the other way around, Sherlock.
Precambrian Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 If it were to be dee pika padukone throwing temper tantrum reaction would have been different. But captain cool' date=' rigid ass dhoni whatever he does is right.[/quote'] Lol whaaaat? What has Deepika Padukone got to do with this? Anyone in their place, they would've been in the right. You ask for something another hotel offers, you get a no, and u push off to the other hotel. That's called freedom of choice bro.
jf1gp_1 Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 trivial matter blown out of proportion; besides all those who are critical of Dhoni let me ask them are you tell me not once if your life have walked off a store or restaurant even when in your heart you know its you or the people you are out with who are at fault. Off the field Dhoni stood up for a team mate/ friend i absolutely back him cause i would have done the same. Leaving hotel for a silly thing is just as silly as hotel not allowing them to get outside food. Hotel took a stand good for them and its absolutely within their right;as long as they do the same with a group of goras who try something similar.

The police are supposed to conduct a test on the home made Biriyani?
Mariyam Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Once again it is completely the hotel's discretion if they allow special requests. How do you know what tone was used while asking? MTC this isn't about special requests at all. It is about accommodating your guests, celebs or not. That is what a hotel is supposed to do. Its known as adjust madi, in Bangalore speak. Unrelated to this, but anecdote that I'd like to share. Many years ago, a relative of mine was put up at the Taj. At the break of daylight she is woken up by the sound of Shehnai. Not too loud, but continuous. Furious she calls the reception and says " Some one is playing a Shehnai at 5:15 in the morning in room abc. Who the hell does he think he is? Ustad Bismillah Khan? " The receptionist answers: " Madam, it is Ustad Bismillah Khan" !!!! And she went back to sleep, smiling. Or so she told us.
Mariyam Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 FTR Hyderabadi Biriyani is massively over-hyped. Yet its probably the only good thing about Hyderabad.
BlueBee Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 FTR Hyderabadi Biriyani is massively over-hyped. Yet its probably the only good thing about Hyderabad. Yeah. Nothing very special about it actually. Dunno why people like it so much
