I'm inclined to think the WI players have a point here. I have no respect for the WICB or the BCCI. They're clearly way too powerful and unethical. But just playing devil's advocate.

However I fear this will not affect the BCCI who are so domineering that I understand Indian players are not allowed their own representative group?

IPL contracts are one year rolling contracts which the franchises can extend for another year if happy .So if BCCI bans them then the franchises wont extend the contract for the next year. So there is no breach of contract or lawsuit from players.

BCCI are clearly holding WICB responsible for the cancellation becoz they could have resolved/avoided/postponed the issue until the series ended.But they didnt. Even the players were willing to continue if WICB agreed to allow the previous agreement to continue till the end of the series and then could have started the negotiation. But WICB clearly messed up completely the issue i mean cancelling an international series via mail ? Idiotic at best
