kumar713 Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 The BCCI is seriously contemplating reviewing the West Indies players' participation in the cash-rich Indian Premier League as the ongoing series ended abruptly on Friday due to visiting team's payment dispute with their own cricket board. "The matter is likely be raised at IPL governing council meeting where the issue will come up for serious discussions. Some of the members of board's top brass want to ban the Windies players for atleast one season," a senior BCCI functionary told PTI. I would go so far as to say that to ban people on the basis of nationality borders on racism and is against competition law.

The contracts are between individual players and their franchise, not the boards. If the BCCI cancels contracts arbitrarily we shall all know even better what a repulsive, self serving and greedy institution it is.

Incorrect........Suarez can and has played in an Intl. friendly......was against Oman......he scored as well.....
