Umesh only came in when Mohit got injured. Dont think Dhawal was there in that series and then I am not talking about CSK. I am talking about how Dhoni works. He will prefer a good line length bowler over erratic pace bowlers on first choice. Only when that fails, he go for pace. He already saw Aaron was erratic, so, he will go for supposed line length now.

We played both Ishant and Yadav in last Aus tour Played Ishant and Shami in both NZL and SA series Had Aaron and Ishant for England series. But yeah he only prefers Mohit Sharma who never played test cricket under Dhoni .

Umesh was the best Indian bowler last time- FACT Playing Ishant is because we don't have any other choice. Also, why are you against Aaron on the fastest track in OZ? If anything, he SHOULD PLAY IN GABBA and can be dropped everywhere else. By the way, he did pick up 3 wickets out of 12 (fluke or not) so he will pick up wickets even he is wayward. Thats the beauty of express bowlers.:dance:

Umesh was our best bowler becoz Dhoni game him chance. Only under Dhoni we play 2 90mph bowlers in our test team.We never had a single bowler like that before .

What exactly did we miss of Dhoni's captaincy in last test Dhoni was good captain in tests but its time he quit test captaincy and gave it to Kohli.He has been stagnating for way too long in tests .His batting will improve much better in tests without the captaincy burdens as well. Obviously unrealistic but one can hope
