Texan Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 .... and yet, Mr Sanjay Jha of Congress thinks that the "Modi wave is missing". Need we point out that actually, the Congress itself is missing in all these elections..... :hmmm: Never mind, let them keep living in their dream world.

In any other field he would have been fired umpteen times
G_B_ Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 what do you want him to do? he is just a spokesperson. The real issue is the gandhi family itself. Sonia has big health issues. Rahul is not capable and Priyanka has an anchor in the form of are you serious vadra
Texan Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 What is called for is a little bit of humility and acceptance of the fact that the Congress has significantly lost their way and it will take changes of epic proportions in order to correct their course. What I have seen Congress spokespersons do is just the opposite. They are showing undue and unwise defiance. Every time they come on a show post an election, they question the "Modi wave" despite BJP delivering its best ever performance in the election in question. In fact, in every election since the LS election, BJP has significantly increased their seat count compaared to the prior assembly election for the same state. By being arrogant and defiant instead of humble and introspective, they are only digging their graves even deeper.
Raghav_12 Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 Disappointed by the trends in Kashmir - BJP not leading in even a single seat and vote share increase is also quite small. Yes. That is disappointing. I always want to see more votes for national parties in Valley. But then Modi clearly is not the leader who would achieve that for national parties.
Precambrian Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 Slightly worried about fall in vote share of BJP in jharkhand. It was above 40% in the LS elections but has dropped to 31.3% in state elections. Agreed, they gave up around 8 seats to their ally but even adjusting for that there is atleast a 5% drop. Also understand that far more parties were in the fray as compared to LS elections. But JMM has actually managed to better it's vote share from the LS elections might be a cause for worry. Hopefully the leaders do not let this slip under during the celebrations.
Texan Posted December 24, 2014 Posted December 24, 2014 BJP always tends to do better in a national election than a state election. I have heard so many people in the past say that they will vote for BJP in the general elections but prefer Congress in state elections because state level leadership in BJP was not perceived to be competent. But this is changing now.

Seems like opposition idiots set higher benchmarks for BJP.
someone Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 Fantastic result, new records for BJP. For Jharkhand, as expected, BJP+ alliance helped them cross the line. And for J & K, to have the largest vote share needs to be appreciated. BJP together with the BJP rebel Gupta (1) + JKPC (2) =28, so that's the same as PDP. BJP should be part of the government, no question about it. Like Amit Shah stated, all options are open.

randomGuy Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Saar. You are AAP supporter & Modi hater..plz don't forget. LS main BJP ko vote kar dunga yar (n hope my vote doesnt be a panauti like usual) . For poor people especially, AAP offers more human touch imo. For ex., in last winters, they made temporary night shelters at many places, including near where I live. These would be very very useful for those who spend chilly nights there. This winters - Non-AAP govt. , so no night shelters.

randomGuy Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 So what AAP MLA's are doing? even though you are a bjp supporter, i see that you have no expectations from them. they are the ones ruling delhi right now when they is no assembly or MLAs, n they are the ones who delayed elections.
