Lords has its great tradition.MCG and Eden Gardens with its capacity of more than 90000 is also very special but.. for sheer beauty' date=' spectator friendly atmosphere and out standing stands, Adelaide Oval has no challenge.[/quote'] The MCG is a terrible cricket ground IMO. Any cricket stadia where just cricket is played, and not used for other sports are the best. Like they say "size doesn't matter". Durhams ground 'Chester le Street' is a beautiful place to watch cricket. But overall I enjoyed the SCG with it's old fashioned pavillion probably the best.

Hmmm try telling the Lanka players this after the abuse they suffered last time they played here. http://www.theage.com.au/news/Sport/ICC-to-probe-Australian-abuse-complaint/2006/01/31/1138590491418.html

Eden Gardens without a shadow of doubt. It's is THE arena in world sport. As an Indian cricketer, can you imagine the rush you get when your every success is celebrated by 100,000 of your absolutely cricket mad countrymen? What an atmosphere. And the ground itself is such a sight! Lush green thick grass all around that has such a soothing effect on the eyes. The almighty chose a very fitting venue for the greatest fightback in sport and the greatest test cricket has ever seen.

Amen. Eden Gardens under lights is simply magnificent. Don't agree with the "THE arena in world sport" part...but it certainly is the liveliest stadium in the cricket world without a shadow of a doubt
