bones Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 It should consist mostly the great WI and Aus line ups, probably 9 of the 11, the other two might be from other countries. If any WC XI doesn't include at least 4 Aussies from the 99-07 sides then it can't be taken seriously.

How on earth would Dhoni get in ahead of Gilchrist? No keeper comes close to Gilly, 3 finals and 3 scores 1 of them a savage assault that buried the game before it even got started.

Sehwag failed most of the pressure matches he has played including duck in 2011 WC.His only good knocks under pressure were the 20&30 against Pak .We had 3-4 superior knocks in both matches too

We're picking up here all time "XI". Not who all are the greatest ODI players. So it's the combination of "XI" players who are great as a team. So quick 40-50 in a high pressure game against pak makes a world of a difference. And that's why we've other players in that XI which has their own role to play like a long inning or to stabilize the batting line up or to hold a end or to do slogging in in the death overs.
