BTW who will Koch Brothers support - they are planning to spend up to 1 billion on this election. That could change the fortunes of any candidate they support.

Going to be a total fractured mandate with the 2 big parties getting their lowest vote share in 70-80 years while fringe parties like UKIP, SNP, Green Party etc taking away around 30% of vote share among them. Coalition era has fully arrived in UK.

That could change the fortunes of any candidate they support. jeb bush's chances are low due to his family background. Koch brothers backed romney too. look what happened. at the end of the day, its the candidate that matters.

Last time they spent $300 million I think. 1 billion is way more and will have much more impact. Also, unless the Democratic candidate is Elizabeth Warren, there is no charismatic Democrat like Obama so Koch's money will have some impact this time.

Also, unless the Democratic candidate is Elizabeth Warren, there is no charismatic Democrat like Obama so Koch's money will have some impact this time. for the democrats, i only see them winning if they get a minority to run for president again. that latino mayor from texas probably has a good shot. warren and clinton would get the women vote but i don't see minorities (especially latinos and African americans voting en masse for them like African americans did with Obama)

Also, many people who find Hillary 'unexciting' might want to wait 4 more years to vote directly for Warren when she runs?

Two women have won the nominations of major parties, both as vice-presidential candidates: Geraldine Ferraro for the Democratic Party in the 1984 election and Sarah Palin for the Republican Party in the 2008 election.
