Fastest. 145.5 k Average 140.4 k Mohit Fastest. 139.6 k Average 135.0 k Shami bowled some hostile bouncers and took 2 wickets from bouncers.

They are going to have a bad times against all team. Also our fast bowlers won't have such easy ride banging in against SA. Time to replace injured bhuvi with Aaron

Shammi bowled between 138k to 146k and with an average of 141k( I am neglecting one or 2 slow balls) - he got 4 wickets and they were younus khan the old Pak war horse who saved his head but gifted his wicket, misbah who fot like a warrior but ended up loosing his wicket finally to india's Pace ace ,boom boom afridi who was trying his best to boom but mis fired, wahab riaz who was shocked to see shammi bowling at 146 as he thot that only he could ball real fast. Umesh bowled from 136 to 148k with averaging at 142.5..a 145k bal was mishit by shahzad to our rock star jadeja ..ball came straight to jadeja but still was nearly looping out but as this was a critical match JADDU was wide awake and he caught it in the second try. maqsood gave raina a simple catch at second slip.. maqsood was shocked to see such pacy ball coming on him to kiss his shoulders.. he snicked to second slip. umesh needs to improve his CONTROL. with these 2 guys firing at big pace.. mohit slowed down and between 132 to 138 though he also has the capability to go till 143k but since umesh and shammi were running hard so mohit also got the benefit and got the tailenders... I believe that mohit could have done better and bowled with more FIRE.. he will need to be faster in other games else he will be hit out too.

ViruDilSeKhelo Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Yadav can bowl as quick as Aaron but I don't believe he is going all out. He mentioned himself that he does cut down a bit on pace. I agree with this, if he is spraying it at 140-145k, imagine he tries to bowl into 150k plus. Yadav's speed is fine, just needs to work on his line and length. He doesn't impress me much. Shami has speed, slightly less then Yadav, but has that zip off the pitch. Bit of seam and reverse he got last year.

Aaron is the most talented and I repeat INDIA should have played him yesterday or even now he should get into world cup team for bhuvi. as it is said if u can coach shammmi and Umesh to bowl right - u can also get aaron to bowl well. I believe Australia and the Africans who have high quality Batsman will manage to hit Umesh and Shammi. against the minnows and even against Newzealand - umesh and Shammi will Suceed( if they bowl as well as they did yesterday or better) Australian batsman like warner, Maxwell,steve smith and a few African batsman like amla and the worlds best batsman deviller...these guys are going to hit umesh and shammi and would really rule them. that's the time when we would MISS VARUN AROON as Mohit is a Pure trundle and any good batsman can handle him.

Honestly there is not that much difference between the two if both are asked to bowl as quick as they can. I would like to see Yadav really steam in but also bowl accurate - I don't think either will happen. I thought he turned the corner in the Sri Lanka bilateral series but seems to be going back to his old self. I hope he gets better during the wc.

The instant reaction of the commentators and how Dhoni was late to react to the ball means it was definitely a very very fast ball.
